Island Park

Island Park, 200 Main St, is a favorite destination for visitors and residents alike.  It's a historic park that hosted Chautauqua's from 1887 to 1913.  Today, kids (of all ages!) delight in the castle-like playground.  Island Park also provides ample opportunities for rest and relaxation.  Kick back with a fishing pole and listen to the soothing sounds of the waterfall on the western edge of the park.  Or sit for awhile in the Peace Garden, while enjoying the beautiful plantings and flowers.  Reserve one of the 3 pavilions or shelters for a bbq with friends and family.  Hours of fun await you at Island Park!

For pavilion or shelter reservations call the City Operation Center, (620)-221-5600.
