    It’s time to clean out that garage or shed and around the house. The City of Winfield, will have a roll-off container for household clean-up items, at a designated location. Each week the roll-off container will be in different locations, so watch our City Website, City Facebook Page, or the Courier/Traveler Newspaper Ad to find out where. Please DO NOT bring these following items: • COMPOST or BRUSH (accepted at Compost Facility 320 Broad St.) • VEHICLE TIRES (accepted at Compost Facility 320 Broad St.) • REFRIGERATORS/FREEZERS or AIR-CONDITIONERS • OIL, FUEL, or CHEMICALS • BATTERIES or PAINT • UTILITY POLES or RAILROAD TIES

  2. Lowell Elementary 2nd Annual Golf Tournament

    May 5, 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM @ Winfield Country Club

    4-person scramble. Includes: Green fee, lunch, cart, 2 drink tickets. Mulligans are available at registration, prior to tournament $20/team. Specials: Hole in One, Longest Drive, Closest to pin $5 each. Raffle: Concert tickets, Rubbermaid coolers, massage, etc. Entry Deadline is April 18th at 5:00 PM. Dress code: Collared shirts. Flight and prizes based on number of entries.

    The winners of the Winfield Arts & Humanities Council's 29th Annual Kansas Voices Contest will be announced and rewarded at the reception followed by the readings of the winners of Youth Poetry, Youth Short Story, Adult Poetry, and Adult Short Story.
